We here at The Gridley Inn B&B strive for our guests to have an enjoyable, relaxing and memorable experience. There are 4 rooms available for guests and cancellations affect us greatly. Thus, before booking a reservation, we must ask our guests to acknowledge and abide by our policies concerning your stay and/or cancellation.
Office Hours – 10am to 8pm
Payments
Payment is due in full at the time of booking. This will include room fee, plus state (8%) and county (3%) taxes. Prices quoted are per night, double occupancy. Rates may vary and all sales are final.
Cancellations
14 days or more prior to arrival - refund minus a $15 administrative fee.
13 days prior to arrival = No Refund or amount of stay can be converted into a gift certificate for a future stay.
No Show = No Refund
The Gridley Inn cannot accept responsibility of changes in travel plans due to personal illness or injury, family emergencies, inclement weather, etc. We highly encourage guests to purchase travel insurance from a reputable company.
Refunds are for the amount of the full room charge of your booking. The Gridley Inn B&B is not responsible for refunding any costs of travel including foreign exchange or bank fees.
Group Reservations
We welcome groups reserving all 4 guest rooms. Call for special rates.
Check-In
Check-in is from 4pm to 6pm.
We ask that if you are attending an event in our area and require an earlier check-in to please contact us at least 24 hours prior to arrival.
Common courtesy of arriving on time is essential to the staff of The Gridley Inn B&B. Our day begins at 7am and we would like to eat dinner and relax once our guests have arrived.
If you have an issue with traffic or weather that will delay your arrival, again we ask that you contact us immediately with an approximate time of arrival.
Again, please be considerate of us and do not delay your arrival because you stopped for dinner, attended an after-race event, stopped at one too many wineries, etc. Arriving after 6pm will result in a $25 late fee.
Check-Out
Checkout is 10:30am every day.
Late Check Out - $50
Room Etiquette
Guest are not allowed to consume food or drink (except water) in their room. You are invited to enjoy snacks or leftovers in our dining room. Our common areas are for consumption of drinks. We have wine glasses and cork screws available upon request.
The Gridley Inn does provide in room refrigerators for purchases of perishables or leftovers.
We appreciate your cooperation in this matter.
Breakfast
Guests with special dietary needs are required to contact us at least 24 hours prior to arrival. We know that you will provide us with the items that you cannot eat, but we also ask for suggestions of what you can safely eat.
Please be seated only where there are place settings.
Breakfast in our dining area is at 8:45am. Please be prompt.
We can accommodate an earlier breakfast from 8:15 AM
Guests who expect an early departure can notify us and we will provide a "Goody Box" for your trip.
Guests will need to notify us by 7:30am if you do not wish to have breakfast. Common courtesy is the rule.
Children
Until further notice, The Gridley Inn B&B cannot host children of any age.
Pets
Only a certified ADA Service Animal will be allowed at The Gridley Inn B&B.
No pets are allowed.
Special Events or Travelers
The Gridley Inn B&B is located off of the historic Eric Canal Bike Trail. Our carriage house is used for bike storage. Therefore, there will be no bikes allowed in the inn. We are in close proximity to many athletic events in our area and we will accommodate your special needs on race days. Please call us to discuss your requirements
Smoking
No smoking is permitted within the inn. Outdoor smoking areas are available in the front and rear of the inn. Please place cigarette butts in the appropriate receptacles.
Note: If management has found any cause of a guest or guests smoking in your room or any other part of the interior of the inn, a $150 cleaning fee will be charged to your card on file.
Prohibited Items
No candles, incense, bubble bath or bath oils are permitted in the rooms. Illegal substances, and firearms are strictly prohibited.
The Management of The Gridley Inn supplies quality bed linens. Please refrain from applying oily lotions, creams, and topicals, which may cause stains.
